Create Second Life Account for the Smithsonian LVM Island

     Welcome to the Smithsonian Latino Center's Second Life avatar creation page. Please fill in the fields below with the necessary information.

     After you successfully create an avatar, you will need to go to the Second Life website to download the current version of the Second Life client (you will need administrator privileges for this). The link is: http://secondlife.com/community/downloads.php

     After you have loaded the Second Life client on your computer, double click on the Second Life icon to open the client and use your new avatar name and password to sign into Second Life.

     Upon logging into Second Life, your avatar will be placed on the Smithsonian's orientation area. Good luck and happy computing in the virtual world of Second Life.
